The “Settings > Access” screen is the main interface for managing Duplicator Pro advanced permissions. The Duplicator Pro Advanced Permissions feature allows website administrators to restrict access to certain users, even if they are administrators.

Note: The Advanced Permissions feature is available for the Pro, and Elite licenses.

Capabilities of the Advanced Permissions

The Advanced Permission feature comes with many capabilities. These capabilities can be controlled from the “Settings > Access” screen. Here is the list of the Advanced Permissions capabilities:

• Package Read
  The capability to read the list of packages and their characteristics. Without this capability, Duplicator is not visible. This is the basis of all the other capabilities listed below.
• Package Create
  This is a child of the “Package Read” capability, and it’s the capability to create and delete packages.
• Manage Schedules
  This is a child of the “Package Create” capability, and it’s the capability to manage package schedules.
• Manage Storage
  This is a child of the “Package Create”, and it’s the capability to create and modify storage. Those with the “Package Create” capability can select existing storage but cannot edit it
• Restore Backup
  This is a child of the “Package Create”, and it’s the capability to set up and execute a recovery point
• Package Import
  This is a child of the “Restore Backup”, and it’s the capability to import a package and overwrite the current site.
• Package Export
  This is a child of the “Restore Read”, and it’s the capability to download existing packages.
• Manage Settings
  This is a child of the “Package Read”, and it’s the capability to change settings.
• Manage License Settings
  This is a child of the “Manage Settings”, and it’s the capability to change the license settings.
