Terms of Service for Log File Uploads

This Support Attachment for Log File Uploads (the “Support Attachment”) sets forth the terms applicable to the support provided by Duplicator to you and is made part of the Duplicator Terms: https://duplicator.com/terms/ (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Support Attachment have the meaning given them in the Terms.

By using the Support Form and submitting any files, including error logs, you agree to the Terms. The Terms govern the submission, handling, and use of files uploaded through the Support Form.

Purpose of Log File Uploads

The Log File Upload field in the Support Form is provided solely for the purpose of troubleshooting issues related to the Duplicator Plugin. Files uploaded, such as error logs, should be relevant to the technical issues you are experiencing with the plugin. This allows our support team to efficiently diagnose and resolve your issue.

Data Handling and Privacy

We understand the importance of your privacy. Files uploaded via the Support Form may contain information necessary for diagnosing issues, but we do not use, share, or distribute the content of the files for any purpose other than troubleshooting your specific request. Please see our privacy policy for more information: https://duplicator.com/privacy-policy/.

Auto-Deletion of Log Files

For your protection and to ensure minimal data retention, any files uploaded to our support system, including error logs, will be automatically deleted 30 days after the upload. This retention period allows sufficient time for troubleshooting while also ensuring that we do not hold on to unnecessary user data for longer than required.

User Responsibility

When uploading files to our support form, you confirm that:

  • The files are relevant to the support request.
  • You are not uploading any personal, sensitive, or confidential information that is not essential for troubleshooting.
  • You have the right to share the files to receive support. We are not responsible for any issues arising from the inclusion of personal or sensitive data in the uploaded files that are not necessary for troubleshooting.

Liability

While we take all reasonable measures to safeguard the data you upload, we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using the File Upload feature, you acknowledge and accept any inherent risks related to data transmission over the internet.

Updates to the Terms of Service

We may update the Support Attachment from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.

Your continued use of our support services after changes to the Support Attachment constitutes your
acceptance of the revised terms.

If you have any questions about the Terms or the handling of your uploaded files, please
contact our support team.
